Judge Dan Polster is overseeing the consolidated lawsuits in a case in federal courtroom in Cleveland.
The complaints allege drug producers and drug distributors bear accountability for the lethal overdose epidemic and for not doing sufficient to cease it.
Polster is attempting to hammer out a settlement between the industry and communities which have filed complaints.
Polster allowed 12 extra lawsuits into the case on Tuesday, bringing the overall to greater than 320.
The new instances embody lawsuits introduced by the town of Lebanon, Ohio; Marion County, Alabama; Candler County, Georgia; Onondaga (ahn-uhn-DAH’-gah) County, New York; and Skagit County in Washington state.
